When checking in a single-pet or family appointment, you'll see a small check box at the bottom of the check-in form, right above the blue button.
If you decide to check that box, a small check mark will be placed on the appointment calendar next to that pet's appointment.
This way, you'll be able to glance at today's calendar and see which pets have and have not checked in yet.
In the images below, you can see the check mark box inside the red circled area in the first image. In the second image, you can see the difference between appointments with and without the "checked-in" check mark.
