Overlapping Kennel Appointments
When using DoggieDashboard, you can decide if you want the system to let you "overbook" a kennel when you create an appointment. This means putting 2+ pets from different families in the same kennel at the same time. You can customize this option in the Business Settings menu under Overlapping Kennel Appointments.
Example: Fido Jones is in Kennel 1 from 8am to 5pm and Sparky Miller from 1pm til 6pm. That's an overlapping appointment.
If you want DoggieDashboard to let you put two dogs from different families in the same kennel at the same time, select Yes (Allow Overlapping Kennel Appointments). If you want DoggieDashboard to stop you from putting different dogs in the same kennel at the same time, select No (Only One Pet Per Kennel at a Time).
Pets from the same family can always be put in the same kennel at the same time (as long as you create their appointment together).
Important Note: When editing kennel appointments, you can always create overlapping appointments. This is because the system trusts that you're putting the correct pet in the correct kennel at the correct time, even if that means overlapping a kennel. Otherwise, you'd have to continually turn off and turn on the overlapping appointments setting every time you want to override the system, and that'd be a big hassle.
