Based on lots of user feedback, DoggieDashboard has begun tracking the delivery status of emails sent from DoggieDashboard.
There are three times that are tracked.
When the email is sent from DoggieDashboard to your client, it will show up on the table with a Sent time.
When your client's email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, etc) receives the email, a Received tag will show up on the table.
When your client opens your email, an Opened tag will show up on the table.
For privacy reasons, not all email providers allow tracking, so some emails may show up as SENT, but it's impossible for DoggieDashboard to know if it was Received or Opened. For these situations, you'll want to contact your client by phone to confirm they received the email.
Likewise, if an email is showing up as Received but your client hasn't opened it, contact them to make sure the email didn't land in their SPAM folder. If it did, have them open the email and mark it as NOT SPAM so future emails arrive in their inbox. They can also add notifications@doggiedashboard.com to their email safe sender list. This is the email address that sends all of DoggieDashboard's emails.
